Abstract

|
Three unmarried young women with large uterine leiomyoma were treated with a long acting agonist of lutenizing hormone-releasing hormone (LH-RH), decapeptyl (D-trp6LHRH), 4 gm administered intramuscularly every month. After reduction in uterine volume myomectomy was performed for the definitive surgery. This experience is reported with brief reviews of the literature.
